Troels Degett Holmsted
Troels is a designer specializing in conceptual communication and printed matter. He has a deep passion for Dutch and Swiss graphic design and enjoys combining clear graphic aesthetics with humorous and unexpected ideas. He is always aware of new movements within design.
In 2015 Troels moved to Japan for 6 months to work for Kenya Hara Institute at Nippon Design Center in Tokyo, where he took part in both Japanese and international projects within visual identity, editorial, packaging and type design.
Troels is involved throughout all design phases, from concept development to final implementation of visual identities, editorial design, and creative communication. At Kontrapunkt Troels has been involved in projects for Glyptoteket, Carlsberg, Carlsbergfondet, DR, Novo Nordisk, Lego and Øregaard Museum. Before joining Kontrapunkt Troels worked as designer at Pleks, where he created strategy-based solutions for cultural clients.
Troels holds an MA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design and has studied at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in the Netherlands.
