For more than 15 years Lars has managed some of the largest and most complex design projects at Kontrapunkt. His projects cover a broad spectrum of touch points, including signage design and wayfinding, store design, visual identity, typography, and even uniform design and architecture.

Lars has been responsible for signage and interior design for Danske Bank, the total design concept and implementation of Billund Airport, and branding and signage for The Danish Pharmacies. He also managed an international consortium that was responsible for the total identity design and architecture of Bybanen, Bergen Light Rail in Norway. Lately, Lars has been working on the store design of Andersen Bakery’s next generation bakeries in Tokyo, Japan and the new identity, typography and interior design of the world’s best restaurant, Noma, in Copenhagen.

Lars has developed a particular interest in spatial design projects and branding of infrastructure – airports, metros, light railways and the transportation industry. Lars has also completed projects for clients such as DSB, the University of Copenhagen, Metroselskabet, Novozymes, The Capital Region of Denmark, and Tasaki in Japan.

Lars has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and has been studying architecture at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
