Reporting on Purpose: A webinar series from Kontrapunkt and Simple Revolution
This event is the first in a series of webinars and live discussions on the latest trends within annual and sustainability reporting, hosted by Kontrapunkt and Simple Revolution. We hope you'll join us on 3 June and will keep you posted on our forthcoming events.
Date: 3rd of June
Time: 9.00 - 10.30 (CEST)
Five years into the Paris Agreement, it’s clear to most that we’re past talking about doing good; it’s time for real action. Defining clear ESG commitments is very much on the agenda for most companies, as are the efforts to deliver on the UN Global Goals.
But how can companies make sure that good intentions don’t become empty promises when it comes to living up to the commitments they’ve defined for themselves? How do you assess the impact of your ESG efforts? What does ‘good’ look like – and does the new generation of investors and consumers define it in the same way?
These are some of the questions we’ll be asking our four panelists in this webinar. Together, we’ll explore the opportunities as well as difficult deliverables when it comes to sustainability. We’ll get their take on what companies can do to build trust with their stakeholders and become fit for a new paradigm.

9.00 - 9.30 → The rise of purpose-driven investing
The first part of the webinar focuses on the changes that are currently taking place in the world of investing, particularly when it comes to the assessment of company performance. The panel will discuss what investors are really looking for in relation to ESG – and share their insight on what will be expected of companies going forward on this score.
9.30 - 10.00 → The challenges and opportunities of ESG
In this second part of the webinar, we’ll look at how companies can start working more progressively with ESG. Our panelists will discuss the challenges that companies face when it comes to defining and delivering on ESG commitments – and how to avoid that the communication on these matters tips over into ‘green-washing’ or ‘green-blushing’.
10.00 - 10.30 → Open panel discussion and Q&A
We are excited to welcome you!
