Oldie but goldie

It's interesting to see how some logos have such strong character and design, they are almost instantly recognisable, even when blurred, picked to pieces or completely darkened.

The popular logo-featuring Instagram account 'typetopia' (go check them out!) highlighted a darkened version of a logo by Bo Linnemann and Kontrapunkt on their account this week. With more than 500 comments (almost all correct answers) followers seemed to have picked up on the logo straight away.

The redesign was for a famous Danish Toy company back in 1998 and the logo is still going strong till this day.
