We are thrilled to announce that we have found our new Digital Design Director. His name is Marcus Fuchs. And what a pleasure it is to say out loud. Cause Marcus is no lightweight in the ring of digital design.
“It is a dream come true to bring Marcus on board. Like Kontrapunkt, Marcus has a great strategic mind as well as a passion for telling stories through design and creating brands that stand the test of time. We are thrilled to bring on a true heavyweight within digital product design. I am sure our clients will feel the impact of Marcus’ talent right away”, Philip Linnemann, Creative Director & Partner, says.
Marcus is joining us from the award-winning digital agency Trouble, which he co-founded in 2016 and led as Design Director for four and a half years. Before his spell with Trouble, Marcus served as Senior Art Director & Associated Partner at design agency Hello Monday, who, in his time at the agency, won Agency of The Year five years in a row! Marcus has worked with national and international clients such as Google, MoMA, Weekendavisen, DR and Ørsted.
But Marcus is not just a great signing in itself. Marcus joining is the next step in bringing our vision to life: We want to lead the digital development of future brands in a market where branding and product innovations are becoming two sides of the same coin.
That is why, last month, Sean Manion joined the digital team as Lead Producer, Philip Linnemann took on a new role as Creative Director of the digital team, and now we have found our new Digital Design Director. A digital trinity united and ready to lead Kontrapunkt into the future of digital branding.
“Digital has changed. It has gone from being a deliverable to being a core part of business development. Branding increasingly happens through user interfaces. With the strategic and creative muscles at Kontrapunkt, and an elevated focus on digital, we will be able to navigate brands safely into a future, that is only getting more and more digital”, Marcus Fuchs states.
With an adept digital team, leading profiles joining the team, and a number of digitally-driven clients such as Peakon, Nissan, DENSO, and Mitsubishi Motors, we will continue being at the vanguard of the growing link between brand and digital experiences.
