As a part of Kontrapunkt's strategic focus on tying business strategy, brand strategy and digital strategy together through design, we are tweaking management. At the same time we welcome two new profiles to expand our expertise.
– Former COO, Johan Lawaetz, becomes CEO
– Philip Linnemann continues as Creative Director and gains responsibility for Kontrapunkt's digital team
– Sean Manion joins Kontrapunkt's digital team as Lead Producer
– Emilie Prajakta Kamradt joins as Strategic Communications Lead to expand our communications services
Ramping up the digital team
Creative Director, Philip Linnemann, takes responsibility for Kontrapunkt's digital team, and Sean Manion joins as Lead Producer. Sean brings +10 years of professional experience, e.g. from Copenhagen agency Hello Great Works, and a long spell in the New York offices of digital agency Stink Studios. Philip adds on Sean joining the team: "We experience that working strategically with design systems and digital product development across platforms to connect corporate brands and product brands in better ways are in high demand. Getting Sean Manion on board is the first step in developing our digital team over the coming six months."
Emilie Kamradt, Strategic Communications Lead, and Sean Manion, Lead Producer.
Emilie brings 10 years of experience and comes from a position as Strategic Planning Director at MUST. Before MUST, she has worked for a number of other agencies, including Ogilvy and Operate.
Sean also brings a lot of experience, +10 years in fact, e.g. from Hello Great Works and the New York offices of Stink Studios.
Rotation in the management team
With Philip’s digital focus, Johan takes on the CEO role. Johan has a strong background in corporate strategy and M&A. Before joining Kontrapunkt as COO in 2019, Johan was a part of the Strategy practice at the management consultancy Implement Consulting Group. He has also served as Director of Strategy and Growth for a Danish medtech scale-up. Experience that Kontrapunkt will put to use in Johan's new role as CEO.
The shift is part of a new strategy. Chairman, Jens Wittrup Willumsen, explains: "For the last year, Kontrapunkt has developed a new, ambitious strategy on uniting business and brand strategy through new services and partnerships. With Johan's background, we have the right competencies to succeed. The rotation is a natural part of the journey Kontrapunkt is on".
Johan elaborates: "We have already come a long way in transforming Kontrapunkt to a market with new players and new types of projects. Kontrapunkt will continue to be the place corporations and organizations go to for ambitious and holistic brand transformations. And in the future, Kontrapunkt will also be the long-term partner in ongoing brand-building and strategy development."
We look forward to sharing more news on our digital ramp-up soon. In the meantime, check out some of our digital work below.
