Monday evening, hundreds of students at The Hong Kong Design Institute, and design professionals, nestled into their seats for a lecture about type design and typography in holistic branding.

Our very own Bo Linnemann was invited to speak at the lecture together with Leo Lei, Founder & Design Director at Matisse Design and Ricky Chun, Managing Director at Monotype Hong Kong Ltd.

The evening was part of a continues series of lectures called ‘Type Meet’ which are held by The Hong Kong Design Institute. The lectures focus on the current status and development within type design and branding.

The Hong Kong Design Institute, established in 2007, is a leading and prestigious design institution and has years of experience in design education within four design departments – Architecture, Interior and Product Design, Communication Design and Digital Media, Design Foundation Studies and Fashion and Image Design. The campus can accommodate 6.000 students.
