We are back after a long weekend. The extra day off meant some of us went to the beach; some visited families and others casually collected design awards back home.
Our very own Aleksander Jezierski has Polish roots and spent his four-day weekend attending Polish Graphic Design Awards (PGD Awards) and winning!
His work, for the company Adler, was presented first prize in the category 'Best Identity'.
The Polish Graphic Design Awards is an open competition created with Polish visual designers in mind. The aim is to present the best, most interesting, and most important designs implemented in all fields of visual communication in Poland.
The competition is open to projects from all areas of visual communication and media related to graphic design, such as visual identification, poster design, font design, illustration, publishing, press, infographics, wayfinding, packaging, motion graphics, digital media and experimental design.
We salute you Aleks and hope you will soon be reunited with your award - since it was too heavy to bring back in the hand luggage.
