Management changes
Kontrapunkt has appointed Malene Sihm Vejlsgaard and Rasmus Bech Hansen to co-managing directors. Sihm Vejlsgaard’s primary responsibility is operations and Hansen’s is business development.
As part of the appointment, the two founders of Kontrapunkt, Bo Linnemann and Kim Meyer Andersen, are stepping down from daily management to focus on creative development and client relationship building. In addition, they will serve on the board of directors.
Sihm Vejlsgaard and Hansen have been part of Kontrapunkt’s management team for the last year and overseen a rapid growth in Kontrapunkt’s activities and revenue.
In addition to slimming the top-management, Kontrapunkt has appointed new heads of designs and a head of project management.
The new management structure is set up due to significant growth in international engagements in recent years.
”Our organization is now at such a size and complexity that we need professional and dedicated management to drive the company forward. Our concept, approach and level of creativity have proven itself on a global market, but we are still relatively small compared to the largest international brand and design consultancies. This set-up allows us to continue our growth and make Kontrapunkt into a globally recognized design brand,”
says co-founder Kim Meyer Andersen,
The changes have taken effect from December 1st, 2006. ///
