Kontrapunkt Designs New Identity for U.S.-based Hythiam
Los Angeles based healthcare company Hythiam came to Kontrapunkt to create a brand identity for their highly innovative and patent pending treatment protocols for alcoholism and drug dependence, PROMETA.
The promise of the new identity is to help thousands of patients to fight dependency on alcohol, cocaine and methamphetamine by addressing the underlying physiological causes of the disease. Kontrapunkt developed the design concept and guidelines including modified logos and broad based graphics, creating a clear visual universe for the innovation.
The solution put forward by Kontrapunkt is highly inspiring and clearly
communicates the vision and essence of the brand, and at the same time allows
enough flexibility to develop new creative concepts while maintaining the core
brand identity,

PROMETA is the first in a family of product offerings from the NASDAQ-listed company, Hythiam (hytm), for the addiction community. PROMETA is designed to address both the neurochemical imbalances in the brain and some of the nutritional deficits caused or worsened by substance dependence. Changes in brain chemistry and function play an important role in the physical and behavioral symptoms of substance dependence, including tolerance, withdrawal symptoms, craving and relapse.
Besides launching PROMETA, Hythiam manages the recently opened PROMETACenter in Santa Monica, California, that will carry out the treatment. The new visual design concept has been implemented on the PROMETACenter as well, linking the brands of PROMETA and Hythiam.
The PROMETA case adds to Kontrapunkt's growing list of global commitments. ///
