DENSO is part of billions of people’s lives. As one of the largest manufacturers of mechanical parts in the world, they needed tools to communicate on a global scale.
In order to do so, we designed a unique DENSO typeface, updated their visual identity, and helped create an online brand centre for a more aligned expression.
For the brand typeface, we began with the DENSO logo. Looking at the distinct serifs, we designed a welcoming type, with soft curves and open flows, that supports 219 languages in 16 weights.
To present and communicate it all, we built a brand centre for DENSO in collaboration with Shiftbrain. In a "you-won't-get-lost” way, the centre presents the identity in engaging ways for easy adoption.
The result is a familiar, yet new and exciting identity, which helps to convey DENSO’s belief: To create a better future, you need to combine innovative technology, sustainable thinking and human happiness.
