KONTRAPUNKT

Kontrapunkts wins Danish Design Prize for corporate branding

The Danish Design Prize 2007 for Corporate Branding has been awarded to Kontrapunkt for the Danish pharmacies design programme that, according to the jury, is "flexible, simple and distinct, and expresses high quality".

In one of the country's most ambitious and largest identity programmes, Kontrapunkt helped the Danish Pharmacy Union through a strategic repositioning, which was then interpreted into a new visual identity.

The new identity was built around the word 'apotek'  (pharmacy) from which a full-fledged identity programme covering all consumer touch-points - from print and digital media to typography and signage - was unfolded.

According to the jury, "the new comprehensive design programme successfully combines tradition and renewal. The specially designed font 'Pharma' and the logo or brand name 'apotek' are used consistently in all communication and the visual appearance of the brand, which creates unique coherence between the many components of the design programme, including the remarkable successful interaction of graphics, materials and physical signs."
