When Bright Green Expo at COP15 opened its doors for prominent speakers, international climate experts and you and me, one of the fair-stands consisted of raw plywood boards, a wall of posters and a bicycle lane. We designed this stand as a living urban space for the engineering and consultancy firm Rambøll.
When you step inside the fair-stand, it’s like standing in the middle of the formation of the future city. Here is a bench in plywood, a bicycle lane with a bike that generates sustainable energy to the smoothie-blender in the city bar. An outdoor movie theatre shows a film on a rough-painted screen, and behind the raw plywood boards you sense a building site. It’s like experiencing a Rambøll project under construction.
Bright Green Expo is the largest parallel event during the COP15 summit. It takes place on 12–13 December at Forum, Copenhagen. Rambøll is one of 170 companies from 19 countries who are coming together to show the world their cutting edge climate solutions.
