For further information, please contact senior designer Mikael TonningFor the fourth time in a row, Kontrapunkt designs the visual identity for Copenhagen’s Historic Festival. This year the festival revolves around the theme “The Body’s Performance” focusing on representations of the body throughout the ages covering everything from art and dance to theatre and literature.
The visual concept is inspired by children’s “folding-drawings” where one person draws the head, another draws the body, and so forth. Together, the fragmented images create a whole body while at the same time illustrating the historic and cultural diversity in the theme.
The identity is spread across programs, website, advertisements, posters, banners and post cards. The festival runs from September 11-18, 2009.
