This time it’s the 10 years anniversary logo. The new logo will be released at an executive gala dinner in FN on 23 June held in connection with the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2010 that will take place in New York 23 – 25 June 2010. With over 1,000 global leaders in attendance, this triennial Summit will be the most important UN-business event ever held.
Marking the 10th anniversary of the launch of the UN Global Compact in July 2000, the Gala Dinner will highlight the milestones, champions and best practices central to making the UN Global Compact the world’s largest corporate social responsibility initiative, and ultimately help advancing the United Nations goals.
By adding the number ‘one’ to the Global Compact logo, which Kontrapunkt developed a couple of years ago, the new 10 years anniversary logo links to the Global Compact logo in a simple way.
"Global Compact is about communicating clearly and unequivocally. With the new 10-year logo we have united the core identity with a single and fast decoded expression, which is an extension of the Global Compact's own visions of being easily accessible and immediate", explains senior designer Emil Hartvig Andersen about the design.
