Redesigning the Sinebrychoff logo
Modernising traditional valuesSinebrychoff is Finland’s oldest food industry company, and is particularly well-known for its popular koff beer. In Finland, the company and its beer were often perceived as one and the same. Sinebrychoff asked us to help counteract this impression and create a distinct brand image reflecting their modern portfolio and overall values—all within the context of their position as a subsidiary of the Carlsberg Group. | Horse playThe first step in moving the company’s image from being simply beer was to give them a way to unite all their products with equal brand equity. The new logo we created brings various symbolic elements together—the horses that are an important part of its history, the gold crown for genuineness and quality, the hops flower as a nod to its core business… and horseshoes for good luck. The logo is modern but respectful to the company’s rich tradition, distinct yet clearly linked to the Carlsberg family. | 190 years youngThe new logo was launched to coincide with the company’s 190th anniversary celebrations. All stakeholders—management, employees, and the parent company—have responded enthusiastically to the updates and are applying them consistently. | More informationFor further information, please contact senior project manager Nicoline Klareskov |
