Rethink tomorrowAs a global bio innovation leader, Novozymes rightfully wanted a more convincing brand expression than a logo on the wall. They came to us with a brief for re-thinking their headquarters’ reception area and overall interior design. And a willingness to explore outside conventional solutions. | Science and nature at workNovozymes develops natural products into innovative biological solutions. So we brought nature inside in a way that would be relevant to a living, working office building. Birch trunks act as workstations, coat hangers, and tables. The reception desk is shaped like a giant molecule. Behind the desk, bold greens, blues and reds splashed on the wall mimic the fungi used in creating various enzymes. The overall effect gives visitors a unique first impression of the company and shares a very real sense of what the business is all about. | Spreading innovationNovozymes’ headquarters is an architectural blueprint. It has been adapted to different office spaces throughout the world, creating a united brand identity. Similar spatial experiences are easily created in meeting rooms, corridors and employees areas to inspire and promote affiliation across the organisation.
