Creating a sub brand logo for Microsoft
Standing out in a crowdBusiness management software is a competitive field, so even the biggest players have to invest in brand recognition. When Microsoft developed the Microsoft Dynamics sub-brand, they challenged some of the world’s top agencies to compete in creating its logo—a challenge we happily accepted. | Giving 100%Of all the global submissions during the multi-stage selection process, the final four options were from Kontrapunkt. But the real work was just starting. Microsoft’s design department reworked some of the sketches in a way that we knew was becoming too mainstream. They pinged. We ponged. After two weeks of give and take, we agreed on a final solution of layered desktop files and folders in Microsoft’s four brand colours. And in the end, we think Microsoft appreciated our persistence and commitment as much as the final logo. | The new look of business managementMicrosoft Dynamics has many benefits, not the least of which is its ease of use—it looks, feels and works like the Microsoft platform we all know.
